The task was to bring outdated sites up to UN’s accessability standarts. That included using the most up to date W3C and CSS standarts. Some of the examples are: http://www.un.org/sc/committees and http://www.un.org/aboutun/nobelprize.

CONSULTANT – New York, NY 09/04 - present
Developing a site for a Brazilian company that has affordable Funeral plans. Its first phase (research, design and coding) is 100% complete.
Phase 2 is to develop a database to show members it's most updated list of partners. The database will be developed using PHP, FIREBIRD and APACHE.
- Using AgoraCart, developed an e-commerce site. Using FLASH, two sites and using colors, a children's site.

THE WALL STREET JOURNAL – New York, NY 4/99 – 07/01
Online edition - Using PERL and SQL, developed a series of scripts that queries back end servers, process financial information, builds approximately 2300 pages and publishes them to live servers. Recently developed web content implementing Vignette web tools that build on the fly and allow dynamic content to be generated. Developed script in PERL that parses XML files and builds four graphics containing up to the minute Dow indices. Developed and maintained scripts for the Future Options, Market Data Center, inside Trades and European Indices sections of the journal. Also developed scripts for Barron’s Market Center. Assisted on the development of Interactivo – Spanish version of the publication system. Heavy use of UNIX through tools such as Excite, Telnet and UltraEdit.

AGENCY.COM – New York, NY 10/97 – 11/98
Online Agency – Worked as a member of the British Airways team. Developed script in PERL, using ORACLE, SQL, CGI and HTML. The application adds, updates, deletes and finds requested information in the database. Co-developed a JAVA ticker upon client request. Generation and analysis of statistical reports for British Airways and Metlife. Initial organizer of InspireU – internal university.
